Sublimation printing doesn’t require much effort, and you only have to arrange the following things and start sublimation printing on the air fresheners.
What Supplies Are Required for Sublimation on Air Fresheners?
The following supplies are required to sublimate the air freshener, which can be purchased from trusted online or offline stores.
Make the Design and Blank Ready
The first step is to take measurements of the air freshener blank. Then, you can create a beautiful design using any software such as Photoshop, Corel Draw, or Canva pro. Print the design on sublimation paper using a sublimation printer.
The next step is to take the lint roller and remove lint or dust debris from the air freshener blank, if any is available.
Placement of the Design
As we will have sublimation prints on both sides of the air freshener, try to have more prints of the desired design. Cut out the prints if they are on the same page. Place the blank design on the air freshener and trim the extra print area.
When both the sublimation print and blank are ready and have the same size, fix them with heat-resistant tape. Otherwise, any movement of the sublimation print will ruin the design of the air freshener.
Pressing Sublimation Print to Sublimation Air Freshener
Now, it’s time to sublimate the air freshener with the help of a heat press. Place butcher paper on the heat press mat then set the air freshener blank.
Sublimating Air Freshener on Double Side
Typically, people sublimate only one side of the air freshener at a time. But you can perform sublimation printing on both sides simultaneously.
Place the sublimation paper having desired design over both sides of the blank and wrap the heat-resistant tape.
Here, you will need two small-size Easy press machines. After setting the temperature at 400 Degrees Fahrenheit, press both devices for 50 seconds with light to medium pressure.
Then, wait for the air freshener to cool down and remove the sublimation paper at the end.
How to scent Sublimation air Fresheners?
As we have printed all the air fresheners, let us apply some soothing fragrances. But ensure that discoloration doesn’t occur after using fragrances.
A few years back, perfumes were sprayed on the air fresheners.
Now, a day’s essential oils are much in trend to have calming fragrances. These oils can be diluted with water and sprayed on the air fresheners.
Ensure the oil is clean and clear; otherwise, the surface will become dull.
Sealing the Air Freshener
Once the fragrance is added to the air freshener, bind each with ribbons or strings so they can be hung. After essential oil spray, you can use air fresheners anywhere you want.
Otherwise, pack them in plastic bags after sealing them with butcher paper. Sealing keeps them fresh and helps in saving the fragrance.
